Dear Students,
Whether you are taking a class, completing an internship or on summer vacation, we just want to let you know of a few changes that are happening here in the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
First of all, Dr. G. “Anand” Anandalingam, senior associate dean and Ralph J. Tyser Professor of Management Science at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, has been appointed dean of the school. For more information about him please read his bio. Dr. Anandalingam will succeed Howard Frank on July 1.
Secondly, the Fellows office has a new location. We have moved from the Office of Undergraduate Studies to VMH 1407. With the move we have said farewell to our previous Coordinator of Scholarships and Special Programs, Brian Burt. Brian, we wish you well in your new endeavors! We have a new Coordinator, Valerie Johnson, who is happy to be here and is eager to meet all of you. We are also excited to welcome our new Assistant Director of Fellows Programs, Claire Jacobson. Please feel free to stop by the office to say hi.

ATTENTION TRANSFER STUDENTS: We have re-opened four of the fellows programs-Sports Management, LTSCM, Business Process, and Quantitative Marketing. If you are interested in any of these programs, please click on each of the pages to get to the applications. Applications are due July 30th, 2008.
Business Week is how we at Smith celebrate the beginning of the new school year. Through the various events, both new and returning students can learn about the many academic, social, extracurricular, and career prospects that are available.
